Simply Bloom Photography simply warms my heart! Simply Bloom is Vania & Christine - two amazingly gifted photographers based in Alabama. Using natural light and unique processing, these wonderful ladies have created a beautifully modern-vintage style all their own. I just love the romantic, dream-like quality their photos have! Wedding Invitations

Wedding invitations are more than just papers filled with information. They are the guests first glimpse into your wedding day. The style, the decor, the atmosphere all are conveyed to the guest by way of the invitation. Now you may be thinking, "that's a bit much," but in a time where weddings are being hyper personalized to fit the individual needs of each couple, it only makes sense that invitations follow suit. Below are a few of my faves!

Engagement Session: Laura & Mark - Love in the City

When I saw this beautifully vivid, totally urban chic engagement session on photographer, Stephanie Williams blog, it immediately put a smile on my face. The couple, Laura and Mark, wanted shots from their favorite spots in Manhattan where they met and now live. I'm a So-Cal girl myself, but looking at these images makes me wanna move to NYC (almost..)

A Divinely Dapper Affair: Ed & Ginny's Wedding

Every detail of this wedding excites me. The southern charm and homespun elegance; The 20's couture and vintage loveliness. It's enough to make my heart swoon (again).

The couple exchanged vows at the lovely Serenbe, in GA, on May 30th of this year. Helping them bring their divinely dapper vision to life was the talented Ashley Baber, of Ashley Baber Weddings.

All the beautiful images were captured by the talented new york photographer, Josh Goleman (who I love). He did an excellent job of capturing the love, fun, and beauty of the day. Looking at his images made me feel a part of the festivities. But enough with the talk, and on to the pictures!

I absolutely adore the brides flapper style. Gorgeous!

How cute is their telegram-styled wedding invitation, created by Greenwich Letterpress.

Instead of a traditional guest book, Ginny and Ed had their guests sign in on swatches of fabric that would later be made into a quilt.

All the floras, including Ginny's lush & romantic bouquet were from Gloriosa.

In addition to the bridal party, Ed and Ginny asked guests to wear 20's themed attire as well. Providing hats for the men and feathered headbands for the ladies.

Congrats Ed and Ginny! May each day, month and year you live together in marriage add to your love.

Board #2: Peachy Keen

While surfing the net to find inspiration for a summer wedding, I came across this vintage peach label.

And it got me thinking: how dreamy would it be to have a wedding in a peach orchard? You and your guests, surrounded by lush, green trees filled with ripe, delicate fruit; Watching children run through the perfectly manicured aisles, playing hide and seek, while you and your honey sip iced tea. Add in some vintage elements, like a bike with a sweet little basket, or an old-fashioned Ford pick up to disappear into the sunset with. Sprinkle in some homespun elements like wicker fans, straw fedoras, and parasols for the guests to keep cool. Skip the alcohol, and serve up some nostalgia with lemonade in mason jars, or old fashioned soda pop in glass bottles.
