Etsy Love - Foksy Scarves by celapiu

What a creative idea: "Foks" fur scarves with out the fur! These crocheted little numbers are a wonderfully inventive addition to a fall or winter wedding in need of quirky elgance. I love it!

Etsy Inspiration #2 - "Vintage Prom"

Wouldn't it be soo much fun to have a vintage prom wedding? The fancy dresses with full swing skirts. Guests signing in on a vintage yearbook instead of a traditional guestbook. The bride and groom being crowned Prom King and Queen. Exchanging corsages and boutonnieres. Its all just deliciously romantic!

Uniquely Me

I have been following for some time now Lelia Khalil's gem of a blog, Inspired by This. Lelia owns her own wedding PR company (Be Inspired PR) and uses the blog to share her precious knowledge and expertise from her field. Some of her clients are among my favorites in the wedding industry, and given their success her advice has become invaluable to me.

That being said, two of my favorite features of her blog are "PR tips 101" and "Tuesday Tips" where Lelia shares with readers how to enhance the look of their wedding industry brands, increase sales, productivity, organization and above all how to be authentic and bring something uniquely them to the wedding industry. I am so thankful for these tips, they have truly been a God send. It has been very difficult for me, until now, to find this caliber of information on the web while researching wedding industry businesses. People are usually tight lipped about how they broke in or what things they did to achieve success.

It has been an aspiration of mine for some time to be apart of the wedding industry. And this blog has been a creative outlet for me to harness my creativity to help me find my unique voice. So far, I have been moderately successful, but I am still not satisfied. Based on my readings from Inspired by This, I have much searching and much more weeding out to do. Part of this process has to do with a new feature I have in the works, something I believe will be my unique gift to the wedding industry by way of this blog. Please be patient with me as I work out the details. It is something I am committed to seeing through, and I believe it is the distinguishing feature between me and all the other blogs I have drawn inspiration from until now.

This is the beginning of what is uniquely me.

Real Wedding: Tiffany & Danny

I swoon over 50's style. The hairstyles, the clothes, the music... It's all right up my alley. So you can only imagine my excitement when I found this wedding on Vintage Glam Weddings. From the first image I fell in love. I could hardly wait to share this wedding with you! The talented photographer behind this beautiful wedding is Ben Blood ( you may remember him from an earlier post). This couple really thought their wedding style through down to the very last detail.

P.S. She's wearing Stephanie James Couture gown "Audry". Truly lovely!

I found these lovelies over on Stephanie James' blog. They are so cute!

Balloons are fast becoming my most favorite prop! Such fun!
