Etsy Love - Florrie Mitton garters

These garters are deliciously girly and oh so sweet! You would need to get two, so the other thigh won't get jealous *wink*

Each garter is handcrafted in the U.K. by Claire, the woman behind Florrie Mitton. From her Etsy profile,
My range consists of beautiful laces, silk satins, chiffon's & tulle's, trimmed with silk ribbons, beautiful charms and also a special limited edition vintage range. The Florrie Mitton website is currently under construction & will be launching early 2010. I am inspired by Alice in Wonderland, flora & fauna, vintage glamour, the magical, whimsical & the ethereal.....

Florrie Mitton was my great grandma & is the namesake & inspiration for my shop & label.
She named the label after her great grandma (how sweet!). And we share a birthday; this woman is amazing! And he garters are to die for...well not literally, but you get my meaning.

Madeleine Peyroux - "Dance me to the end of love"

LOVE! She reminds me so much of Billie Holiday with her sultry, raspy voice. I would definitely love to do a first dance to this song. It's playful, but very sexy. Possibilities are endless!

Ray Lamontagne - "Hold you in my arms"

I ♥ this song! His voice, the lyrics, the raw emotion... Someone put this song in your wedding, please!!! I mean, if you want of course (*wink*)

Have a happy weekend! I know it's early, but I may forget to post tomorrow.

Dearest Readers and Fans

Sorry for my lack of posts this month!

I just started a new job this week. I am a Special Education Assistant at a High School and I love it! The kids are awesome, but I haven't quite gotten the hang of my schedule yet. There never seems to be enough time to post in the mornings, and when I get home after school, I just want to crash.

I hope to get in the habit of posting on weekends, and prepping posts for during the week. Bear with me, I'm learning...

Thanks for your understanding and patience ♥

Textile necklaces on Etsy

These necklaces are beginning to grow on me. They are so elegant, but trendy at the same time. These would be lovely for bridal or bridesmaid jewelery, because they can be worn beyond the wedding to build more wonderful memories with. I love double-duty jewelery!
